In the autumn of 2025, it was time to present the project results to a wider audience.
In August 2025, Ülo attended the 15th meeting of the European Ornithological Union in Wales. As many as 414 delegates from 37 countries had the opportunity to read our poster on the associations between raptors and a primeval forest. Many thanks to everyone who came along. Cymru am byth!
In October 2025, Ülo and Pawel attended the annual meeting of the Raptor Research Foundation in San Jose, Costa Rica, and presented results on the movement of goshawks in and around the Bialowieza Forest to hundreds of raptor researchers from almost all over the globe, from 35 countries on six continents. Great meetings, great conversations. Pura vida!
