The Polonez BIS3 project was the topic of a scientific seminar at the Faculty of Biology of the University of Białystok. Dr. Väli gave a lecture on the relationships between the movement of predators, the populations of their prey, and landscape diversity.

There is growing evidence, that birds of prey are good indicators of biological diversity, and by tracking their movements, we can identify hotspots of biological diversity in the landscape. We continue research in this area thanks to the support of the National Science Centre. After the break for this seminar, we're heading back to the field!
